Throughout the story, he has been portrayed as hard-working, intelligent, responsible, loving, principled, humble, strong and having all other virtues imaginable. Whereas Ab Kabhi Sham Bujhay gi na Andhaira ho ga tells about the misgivings of a daughter Laila ,whose mother had remarried after leaving her father. Her mother forced her to change her surname which led to her "identity crisis". Laila is a perpetually restless soul who has practically become a hypocrite in the process of trying to be at normal terms with her mother. This story has quite a few surprises. As she finds out some devastating truths about her mother, we realize that Laila’s life is even more complicated than it appears to be at first.
